I had a pleasant stay overall at Boutique Hotel Kasteelen, thanks to its modern amenities and great location near the Museum Square. The apartment was clean and well-furnished, although I encountered a few hiccups with check-in and the noise from neighbors. Despite that, the welcoming atmosphere of the area made my trip enjoyable.

Rooms

The apartment was modern, clean, and functional. The bedroom had the best black-out curtains I'd ever encountered, although the layout was a bit cramped for more than two people. The beds were comfortable, contributing to restful nights.
Service
5.0
The service was generally responsive, but the check-in process was frustrating due to limited hours and unavailability when I arrived. Despite my earlier communications, I still faced delays.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Museum Quarter and surrounded by shopping and dining options. It made exploring the area incredibly easy with nearby tram stops.

There were great dining options nearby, including Lotje restaurant, famous for its steak. This added a good experience to my stay.
Facilities

The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils, allowing for self-catering. However, some amenities like hand soap and a functioning coffee machine were missing, which was disappointing.

My stay at the Boutique Hotel Kasteelen was marked by both positives and negatives. The modern apartment was conveniently located near Museum Square, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. However, I encountered several cleanliness issues that dampened my experience. Overall, I appreciated the modern amenities and functionality of the space, but the lack of attention to detail was disappointing.

The apartment was modern and functional, but I found the cleanliness lacking. The floor had dirt, and the bed sheets were stained. Plus, some amenities like the coffee machine were broken.

Check-in was problematic due to a mix-up with the booking. I was initially allocated a two-person apartment instead of the four-person one I booked. Even after this issue, the communication was not ideal.

My stay at Boutique Hotel Kasteelen had its ups and downs. I loved the location, which was surrounded by charming cafes and close to museums. However, I had some issues with cleanliness and a few maintenance problems in the apartment, which I found quite disappointing. Still, the staff was super helpful, and the overall experience was decent enough that I'd consider coming back with a few caveats.

Rooms

The apartment was spacious enough for my family, which was a plus. However, I noticed some maintenance issues—like mold in the bathroom and a few marks on the sofa bed—that made me second guess the cleanliness.

I liked having a well-equipped kitchen, which was handy for cooking for the kids. However, the shower had some issues with temperature control, which wasn't ideal, especially with little ones.
